MOAT Meggen Open Atelier Tour Sat.-Sun. 20-21 June 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

For the MOAT – Meggen Open Atelier Tour, taking place on 20–21 June 2026, Mascha Mioni presents two new installations as central highlights of her work: “Peking to Paris” and “Game Over 3.”

“Game Over 3” consists of 600 to 1,000 used, crushed table-tennis balls painted with oil paint. Suspended on the finest nylon threads or scattered across the floor, they speak of play and chance, of transformation and transience, and of the uniqueness of every single object.

For “Peking to Paris”  Carlos Rieder brought back a small stone from each stage of his recently completed journey from Beijing to Paris in a 1931 Ford Model A. These silent witnesses to an extraordinary adventure, together with selected photographs from the expedition, have been incorporated into seven oil paintings, linking lived experience with artistic interpretation.
